LQ's Helping Parents Connect with their Children through HWPHS!

HWPHS… stands for the Harvard-Westlake’s Parent Hype Squad. It’s our mission to uphold the pride of HW by promoting school spirit, good sportsmanship, and a positive high-energy packed game-day atmosphere, during the Harvard-Westlake Junior-Varsity & Varsity Girls’ Basketball Home Games; while motivating fans’ support, inspiration, and enthusiasm.

The HWPHS Goals: (1) Show the children that we’ll go the extra mile to support them, (2) Continue this newly-developed tradition that’s only at HW, (3) Push out our positive energy and spirit-which will motivate and inspire the HW Basketball Girls to do the same, (4) Increase the attendance at the HW Home Games, (5) Transform game attendees into Fans of the HW Girls’ Basketball Program, and (6) Perform with heart; and above all, strive to have fun doing it!
